Whether it’s a wine tasting on the wine estate or a culinary adventure at Gåte restaurant, the cuisine will capture your imagination and engage your senses.

The Quoin Rock wines offer a myriad of well-balanced, complex flavours that generate even more harmonies over time. The Quoin Rock wine ambassador will guide you through a tailored tasting of five wines of its wines, while you enjoy a cheese and charcuterie plater.

Imagine a culinary adventure filled with an extraordinary dining experience at Gåte restaurant, pairing each dish with Quoin Rock Estate wine. And for those that do not drink wine, teas are chosen with equal care to enhance the flavour of your food.

The Winelands, Cape Town Helicopters flight package

The Quoin Rock Estate Cape Town Helicopters flight package includes a private helicopter flight to and from Quoin Rock Estate and a half-day experience at the estate to enjoy wine tasting and or pairing, shopping, and lunch (for your own account).

Helicopter Flight Time:	V&A Waterfront to Quoin Rock Estate (+18 minutes) Quoin Rock Estate back to V&A Waterfront (+18 minutes)
Ground Time:	Spend approximately 2,5 to 3 hours at Quoin Rock Estate
Total Winelands Flight Experience:	3-4 hours in total

* Cape Town Helicopters reserves the right to bring the helicopter back to base if operationally required and we will then perform the collection from Quoin Rock Estate at an appointed time.

Flights are subject to weather conditions. A full refund will be provided where rescheduling of flights is unavailable.

Important Information

Check In Time

Please check in 20-30 minutes minutes prior to your scheduled Take Off time. This will allow enough time for us to take weights, conduct a safety briefing and issue tickets. After this has been conducted you can relax on the viewing deck and take some great pre-flight pictures and enjoy the atmosphere.

Best Pictures

For the best pictures we recommend that you wear darker coloured clothing as whites reflect off the inside of the windows and can spoil that epic shot.

Seating

Please be aware that seating allocation on all our sharing flights are done according to weight and balance which is done during your safety briefing and ticketing. Should you want to choose your own seats you can book an Exclusive Flight at the cost of one additional seat and you are guaranteed the ‘best seats in the house.

Weather

All flights are weather dependent. Should the conditions not be ideal for flying we will try to reschedule to the next best available flight window. Note that the temperature in the sky is exactly the same as on the ground in case you are wondering what to wear.
