An unforgettable experience… Cape Town Helicopters airlifts you in style to Creation Wine Estate in the sought-after Walker Bay Wine Region, part of the scenic Hemel-en-Aarde. Situated high up the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge near Hermanus, Creation’s vines climb the steep hills of Babylonstoren Mountain.

The estate is renowned for its Wine and Food Pairing. Creation also caters to younger visitors with a special Kids Menu with Creation Cordials to match. There is a Tasting Room that offers no less than 7 pairing options – from The Story of Creation to our Paradoxical Wine & Chocolate Pairing.

Creation strives to reward the wine lover with wines of rare balance, elegance, distinction & finesse, from South Africa's Walker Bay Wine Region, Hermanus. Upon arrival at this piece of paradise, a curated wine-tasting experience awaits those who appreciate the finer things in life at one of the most sought-after wine destinations.

Enjoy a tantalising taste adventure, pairing dishes on the Creation Wine Estate's Á La Carte Menu with the estate’s exquisite wines, bringing pleasure to the palate and joy to the table, as the grand finale of your day.

Booking Lead Time:
Bookings for the Creation Wine Estate flight require a minimum lead time of 48 hours to obtain landing permissions from the Creation Wine Estate premises.

The Creation Wine Estate, Cape Town Helicopters flight package includes:
A private helicopter flight to and from Creation Wine Estate.
A half-day experience at Creation Wine Estate, including wine tasting and lunch

Helicopter Flight Time:
V&A Waterfront to Creation Wine Estate (Approx 35 minutes)
Creation Wine Estate back to V&A Waterfront (Approx 35 minutes)
Ground Time: Spend approximately 2.5 to 3 hours at Creation Wine Estate.
Total Winelands Flight Experience: Approx 3-4 hours in total

Cape Town Helicopters reserves the right to bring the helicopter back to base if operationally required and will perform the collection from Creation Wine Estate at an appointed time.

Flights are subject to weather conditions. A full refund will be provided where rescheduling of flights is unavailable.

Important Information

Check In Time

Please check in 20-30 minutes minutes prior to your scheduled Take Off time. This will allow enough time for us to take weights, conduct a safety briefing and issue tickets. After this has been conducted you can relax on the viewing deck and take some great pre-flight pictures and enjoy the atmosphere.

Best Pictures

For the best pictures we recommend that you wear darker coloured clothing as whites reflect off the inside of the windows and can spoil that epic shot.

Seating

Please be aware that seating allocation on all our sharing flights are done according to weight and balance which is done during your safety briefing and ticketing. Should you want to choose your own seats you can book an Exclusive Flight at the cost of one additional seat and you are guaranteed the ‘best seats in the house.

Weather

All flights are weather dependent. Should the conditions not be ideal for flying we will try to reschedule to the next best available flight window. Note that the temperature in the sky is exactly the same as on the ground in case you are wondering what to wear.
