Join Cape Town Helicopters on an unforgettable trip to the Jordan Wine Estate in the Stellenbosch wine region. For the convenience of our visitors staying in Cape Town’s city center and surrounds, we fly from our helipad on the East Pier (behind the Table Bay Hotel). Part of this amazing experience is the aerial view of Cape Town and the beautiful winelands, before landing at Jordan Wine Estate. As our guest, you will then be driven in a safari-style viewing vehicle to enjoy the Cape Wineland’s unique flora and fauna and stopping to absorb the spectacular views of False Bay and Table Bay.

At Jordan’s wine tasting venue, choose from a selection of wines that have been harvested from sustainably grown vineyards. Enjoy a delightful feast amid the stunning natural surroundings. Guests are invited to indulge in gourmet delights with a picnic basket consisting of treats from The Cellar Door at Jordan. The picnic baskets consist of a selection of in-house locally sourced delights that include a selection of wines, beers, soft drinks, and hot beverages. Jordan Wine Estate promises to not disappoint with its unique and captivating offerings.

Booking Lead Time:
Bookings for the Jordan Wine Estate flights require a minimum lead time of 48 hours. This is to obtain landing permissions at the Jordan Wine Estate premises.

The Jordan Wine Estate, Cape Town Helicopters flight package includes:

A private helicopter flight to and from Jordan Wine Estate.
A half-day experience at Jordan Wine Estate, including wine tasting and lunch.

Helicopter Flight Time:
V&A Waterfront to Jordan Wine Estate (Approx 20 minutes)
Jordan Wine Estate back to V&A Waterfront (Approx 20 minutes)
Ground Time: Spend approximately 2.5 to 3 hours at Jordan Wine Estate.
Total Winelands Flight Experience: Approx 3-4 hours in total

Cape Town Helicopters reserves the right to bring the helicopter back to base if operationally required and will perform the collection from Jordan Wine Estate at an appointed time.

Flights are subject to weather conditions. A full refund will be provided where rescheduling of flights is unavailable.

Important Information

Check In Time

Please check in 30 minutes before your scheduled takeoff time. This allows us to complete weight checks, conduct the safety briefing, and issue your tickets. Once checked in, you can relax in our waiting area, capture some great pre-flight photos, and soak in the atmosphere before your adventure begins.

Photography Tip

For the best photos, we recommend wearing darker-colored clothing. Light colours, especially white, can reflect off the windows and affect your shots—so dress dark for that perfect picture! We do not have an on-site photographer.

Seating Allocation

For all sharing flights, seating is assigned based on weight and balance, which is determined during your safety briefing and ticketing. If you prefer to choose your own seats, you may book an Exclusive Flight by purchasing one additional seat—guaranteeing you the best seats in the house.

Weather

All flights are weather-dependent. If conditions are not suitable for flying, we will make every effort to reschedule your flight to the next best available time. For your comfort, please note that the temperature in the sky is the same as on the ground, so dress accordingly.
