The unique location of Durbanville Hills cellar, a mere 10-minute flight from Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront, offers a spectacular view of Table Mountain and Table Bay. Although the Durbanville area is renowned for its Sauvignon Blanc which excels under the cool conditions where it is grown, mostly on the cool south-facing slopes, the range of red wines also benefit from the warmer valley outskirts and opposing northern slopes.

Arrive in style with Cape Town Helicopters at Durbanville Hills. Durbanville Hills offers tastings of its Collectors Reserve range or Cellar Door exclusive wines; you can taste the range of wines on their own or paired with either chocolate or biltong. End your day with a food experience at the state-of-the-art winery and restaurant, and enjoy a delicious meal, and enjoy a glass of the extraordinary Durbanville Hills wines.

The Winelands, Cape Town Helicopters flight package

The Durbanville Hills Cape Town Helicopters flight package includes a private helicopter flight to and from Durbanville Hills and a half-day experience at Durbanville Hills to enjoy wine tasting and or pairing, shopping, and lunch (for your own account).

Helicopter Flight Time:	V&A Waterfront to Durbanville Hills (+10 minutes) Durbanville Hills back to V&A Waterfront (+10 minutes)
Ground Time:	Spend approximately 2,5 to 3 hours at Durbanville Hills.
Total Winelands Flight Experience:	3-4 hours in total

* Cape Town Helicopters reserves the right to bring the helicopter back to base if operationally required and we will then perform the collection from Durbanville Hills at an appointed time.

Important Information

Check In Time

Please check in 20-30 minutes minutes prior to your scheduled Take Off time. This will allow enough time for us to take weights, conduct a safety briefing and issue tickets. After this has been conducted you can relax on the viewing deck and take some great pre-flight pictures and enjoy the atmosphere.

Best Pictures

For the best pictures we recommend that you wear darker coloured clothing as whites reflect off the inside of the windows and can spoil that epic shot.

Seating

Please be aware that seating allocation on all our sharing flights are done according to weight and balance which is done during your safety briefing and ticketing. Should you want to choose your own seats you can book an Exclusive Flight at the cost of one additional seat and you are guaranteed the ‘best seats in the house.

Weather

All flights are weather dependent. Should the conditions not be ideal for flying we will try to reschedule to the next best available flight window. Note that the temperature in the sky is exactly the same as on the ground in case you are wondering what to wear.
