Sir David Graaf first planted vines on De Grendel in 1999, almost 200 years after the last vines were destroyed. Experience the breathtaking view of Table Mountain from the farm, arguably the best in the Cape Winelands, upon arrival with Cape Town Helicopters. On a clear day, you can see all the way from Table Bay to False Bay, and sometimes even on to Cape Point.
De Grendel is unique amongst Cape vineyards in that it’s the only estate with the holy wine triumvirate of sea views and cool ocean breezes. Taste the exquisite De Grendel wines from the long glass encased verandah of De Grendel’s tasting lounge and stoep, whilst enjoying some of the most spectacular Cape wine farm views.

The Winelands Cape Town Helicopters flight package
The De Grendel Cape Town Helicopters flight package includes a private helicopter flight to and from De Grendel and a half-day experience at De Grendel to enjoy wine tasting and or pairing, shopping, and lunch (for your own account).
