Late July saw some of the Cape Town Helicopters team take to the skies in our sleek Airbus 365 for a marketing roadshow like no other. The mission? Display our helicopter’s magic, meet some of our favourite clients, and have a little adventure while we're at it.
We lifted off and hugged the pristine South African coastline, with scenery that changed faster than you could say “next photo, please!” One moment it was wild cliffs and turquoise bays, the next golden beaches stretching into forever. From the farming tapestry of the Cape Winelands to the rugged shorelines of the Wild Coast, South Africa is nothing short of extraordinary; it has soul. The ocean even joined the show, whales rolling and waving below as if they knew we had front-row seats.
Our incredible route took us from Cape Town to Durban for our first stop, on to Hilton for a quick inland detour before heading up to Johannesburg. In between, we packed in plenty of laughs, good food, and just the right amount of adventure.
And the highlights? Oh, there were a few:
- Helicopter flips that got everyone’s hearts racing (and faces grinning).
- Meeting up with the wonderful clients who make what we do so worthwhile.
- That unbeatable mix of blue sky, rotor blades, and wide-open freedom.
- Being warmly hosted by the amazing team at Airbus Helicopters at their Grand Central facility in Johannesburg - the perfect backdrop for a successful visit and a great chance to connect in person.
By the end of it, we’d not only showcased the Airbus 365 in style but also filled our memories with moments we won’t forget. Sometimes marketing is about more than just business, it’s about the joy of the journey.
