Sail and swim off Clifton

This is most the most relaxing of all our experience collection. Sail on a luxurious day catamaran (choose one of 2 in the fleet). The cat departs from the V and A harbour and makes its way around to anchor off Clifton beach. The journey allows you to marvel at Table Mountain, Signal Hill, Lions Head and the beautiful Twelve Apostles. The cruise takes about 40 minutes until you reach the bay off Clifton Beach.

Once at Clifton you can either relax on the boat, enjoy a swim or a stand up paddle board. The boat is like a floating deck so there is no need to do much other than to sit and relax in the sun. Catering is by request but the options include a traditional South African braai, sushi and even a plate of fresh oysters.

There is a cash bar on board with an extensive range of soft drinks, wine, beer and other alcohol.

So eat, swim, play and relax before you sail home to the V and A .

Food must be ordered when you book from various menus including Sushi, Oysters and other South African Cuisine. The food is an additional cost.

Rate includes a gourmet burger braai (beef, chicken or vegetarian), and an additional menu with additional options is available at an added cost. Snacks are also provided and include: Droewors, biltong and mixed nuts. Desserts include chocolate brownies and berries.

Important Information

Check In Time

Please check in 30 minutes before your scheduled takeoff time. This allows us to complete weight checks, conduct the safety briefing, and issue your tickets. Once checked in, you can relax in our waiting area, capture some great pre-flight photos, and soak in the atmosphere before your adventure begins.

Photography Tip

For the best photos, we recommend wearing darker-colored clothing. Light colours, especially white, can reflect off the windows and affect your shots—so dress dark for that perfect picture! We do not have an on-site photographer.

Seating Allocation

For all sharing flights, seating is assigned based on weight and balance, which is determined during your safety briefing and ticketing. If you prefer to choose your own seats, you may book an Exclusive Flight by purchasing one additional seat—guaranteeing you the best seats in the house.

Weather

All flights are weather-dependent. If conditions are not suitable for flying, we will make every effort to reschedule your flight to the next best available time. For your comfort, please note that the temperature in the sky is the same as on the ground, so dress accordingly.
