Hop on board on of our King Air aircraft from our hangar at Cape Town International Airport and embark on a flight to Tswalu. This is where you will find the Kalahari’s best kept secret… Experience Chef Jan Hendrik van der Westhuizen’s homecoming project. The Kalahari’s unexplored ingredients take center stage through a seven-course tasting menu and wine pairing on this leading private game reserve.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience culinary delights in the heart of the Kalahari, in true luxury. Depart Klein Jan 15:30 to arrive back in Cape Town at 18:00 just in time for sunset or catch it along the way. Food and drinks are included in this offering. Klein Jan accept bookings for Saturdays and Sundays -depending on the restaurant’s availability.

The flight time from Cape Town to Tswalu is approximately 2 hours.

Pricing: R175 500 (Max 8 pax) (USD 7 000) for the flight. Peak Season Surcharge from 18 December 2024 to 10 January 2025 of R7 000.00

Add R 2 850 (USD 150) per person for the meal.

Important Information

Check In Time

Please check in 20-30 minutes minutes prior to your scheduled Take Off time. This will allow enough time for us to take weights, conduct a safety briefing and issue tickets. After this has been conducted you can relax on the viewing deck and take some great pre-flight pictures and enjoy the atmosphere.

Best Pictures

For the best pictures we recommend that you wear darker coloured clothing as whites reflect off the inside of the windows and can spoil that epic shot.

Seating

Please be aware that seating allocation on all our sharing flights are done according to weight and balance which is done during your safety briefing and ticketing. Should you want to choose your own seats you can book an Exclusive Flight at the cost of one additional seat and you are guaranteed the ‘best seats in the house.

Weather

All flights are weather dependent. Should the conditions not be ideal for flying we will try to reschedule to the next best available flight window. Note that the temperature in the sky is exactly the same as on the ground in case you are wondering what to wear.
